Improve your performance by becoming more comfortable, flexible and strong in weightlifting positions. We'll explore some of the most effective exercises for naturally stiff adults that support mobility development for a deeper squat and full overhead range, and more. All experience levels welcome!

What will the workshop cover?

Developing flexibility as an adult requires a different approach and understanding of how to maximize the potential of your own individual anatomy. This is where a proper education of biomechanics and anatomy are of great importance!

This workshop will be a 2- day event exploring Principals of Mobility Training, assessment, common injuries in the sport of olympic weightlifting and Crossfit such as Hip/ Shoulder Impingement, and PLENTY of exercises to address the most common limitations of the upper and lower body.

The main focus of this workshop will be on improving the shapes necessary for efficiency in the main barbell lifts. Squat, deadlift, overhead press, clean & snatch.

Who’s the workshop for?

This workshop is suitable for ALL levels, whether you are an advanced athlete looking to further develop your mobility safely, or a beginner looking to sit comfortably in a resting squat and improve your hip hinge.

If you are a coach, you will deepen your understanding of movement and acquire a blueprint for assessment & mobility prescription for your clients unique limitations.

If you are an active individual, crossfitter, or weightlifting competitor with joint mobility restrictions or looking to resolve nagging aches and pains, you will come away with many tools to solve your problems.

What’s the schedule?

Day 1: Lower Limb- Ankle/ Foot + Hip Rotation + Squat

Day 2: Hip Hinge/ Lunge Mobility + Overhead/ Hang Position

1 Hour Lunch Break + Q&A sessions each day
