📌 Where:

🕧 When:
Sunday December 28, 2025
9:00AM- 12:00PM
We'll explore some of the most effective exercises for naturally stiff adults to develop a deeper squat. All experience levels welcome!
You will learn where your main hip and ankle restrictions are how to efficiently construct your own squat mobility routine
What will the workshop cover?
A comfortable resting squat is a foundational position which demonstrates physical freedom in the lower body.
Developing flexibility as an adult requires a different approach and understanding of how to maximize the potential of your own individual anatomy.
Assess- You learn where your main limitations are in the hips and ankles, and how to test/retest to see if your interventions are working. Whether you experinece impingement, butt-wink , or hip shifting in your squat, the assessment process will ahelp guide the exercise interventions to follow
Expand- You’ll come away with LOTS of effective drills to integrate with yourself and/or clients to improve foot, ankle, and hip mobility relative to a squat. We will cover repositioning drills, loaded stretching, and end range strengthening.
Integrate- Increasing range in isolation is never enough in my experience. The nervous system has to learn how to effectively use the range of motion you have and built specific to the squat.
Who’s the workshop for?
This workshop is suitable for ALL levels, whether you are an advanced strength athlete looking to fortify your squat positioning for olympic lifting/ powerlifting, or a beginner looking to sit comfortably cross legged in a resting squat, or simply open up the hips and ankles.
If you are a coach, you will deepen your understanding of movement and acquire a blueprint for assessment & mobility prescription for your clients unique limitations.
If you are an active individual with joint mobility restrictions or looking to resolve nagging aches and pains, you will come away with many tools to solve your squat related problems.
